What Is Damsel In Defense?

I have to admit this is one of many more unique multilevel marketing firms that I've come across.

Because it looks like every other multilevel marketing company is attempting to sell another latest greatest weight reduction supplement or beauty routine.

But with damsel in defense they're really unique market. They're primary focus is providing personal protection products to women. They do carry other products along with online protection services.

I'm all for the merchandise this provider is offering. Since the frightening statistics are 1 out of every 6 American women has been the victim of an attempted or completed rape in her lifetime. Source: RAINN.

So, it involves no surprise that more and more women are looking for ways to guard themselves. From using personal protection products to taking self-defense classes.

Now, the business was cofounded by Mindy Lin (CMO) who has experience in direct selling that originated in being a merchant for Mary Kay cosmetics.

And Bethany Hughes (CSO) who had her very own security business called Bethany Hughes security solutions.

The two met in 2009, fast forward to 2011 and damsel and defense was born. And in 2013 Mindy and Bethany were named businesswoman of the entire year by the National Association of Women Business Owners. (NAWBO)

And in 2016 they won a Rising Star award and in 2017 a Vision For Tomorrow award and in 2018 Excellence in Salesforce Development award all from the Direct Selling Association.

The company relies out of Boise Idaho. And are a member in good standing of the Direct Selling Association (DSA).

When did Damsel in Defense Start?

Damsel in Defense was founded in 2012, by Mindy Lin and Bethany Hughes in the Boise Idaho area, servicing the bigger United States of America. While this provider was started and founded by women, both partners triggered a male CEO named Bob Hipple, to use as the Chief Executive Officer and bring his experience with multi-level marketing. Bob Hipple features a history of working with multi-level marketing companies as a consultant, advisor, and many other capacities in direct sales.

Is Damsel in Defense A Pyramid Scheme?

Since Damsel in Defense members earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that Damsel in Defense is not a pyramid scheme.

Do not forget that Damsel in Defense is an MLM, meaning they operate utilizing the same model as pyramid schemes.

Recruiting is more encouraged than selling, and yes, you earn more by recruiting people than selling products.

Is Damsel in Defense successful?

Yes, they're successful. Despite it's multi-level marketing business structure, Damsel in Defense has a relatively solid practice and true potential, when equipping those that need self-defense equipment. But ultimately, the business remains a multi-level marketing company that produces money away from taking more value than they provide. If you purchase a Damsel product, you are usually to pay for a premium price for a defective product. If we will give a score, it would be a C. This is actually the stereotypical multi-level marketing program with a good purpose, but poor products. Their business is potentially profitable for Damsel Pro's, and it is not a scam, but they're certainly only your run-of-the-mill multi-level marketing company https://scamrisk.com/damsel-in-defense-virtual-office/
